heartbreaker

I miss Toronto. Last night I dreamed I still lived there and it was glorious. Poutine with real curds and mushroom gravy. Places to eat that are opened well past midnight. 24 hour transit. I didn't know how good I had it! Plus there was this boat there that I probably should have been living on.

It has started to snow here and I have nothing to live for! Well, aside from this new song from Girls which is AMAZING. Free download here. Their gift to you. I dread looking out the window.

Come on Edmonton.... there has to be at least one decent poutine in the city... why haven't I found you yet?

laugh, laugh

(wearing: fur coat, fuscia velvet dress, blue velvet belt - thrifted. tights - h&m. boots - michael kors.)

Had a high tea with me mum, my sister, and aunt at The Rutherford House Arbour Room. I always know I'm on the right track when I'm hanging out in a room entirely filled with white hairs, I feel that much closer to being authentically grandma. The serious fur coat didn't hurt either. Thankfully it is now appropriate weather to be strolling the streets in my dead carcass specials.

I was lucky to get a Princess Diana and Prince Charles cup and saucer which helped to get me even more pumped on my pending trip/new living situation. This is one Edmonton historical sites that never lets me down.

casanova, baby!

(wearing: 90s gap dress, pink leather purse, and jean jacket - thrifted. black woven leather belt - club monaco. black suede boots - tj maxx. sunglasses - raybans)

Haven't really been in the mood to document my outfits.... and truth be told I've been wearing the same thing everyday for about 2 weeks up until THIS. Maybe it's the fact that Edmonton has slipped into the brown season so quickly, or just my frame of mind? Whatever.

Saw Troll II last night. If you have not seen this, I highly recommend. First off, there isn't even one troll in the whole thing. Nothing about this movie makes any sense, well, aside from the fact that the Goblins are super vegetarians and will only eat you once they've turned you into a plant. I totally get that. I digress...

It's the weekend. Woo.
